I just like writing exercises This is one where you have to write a paragraph about the personification about something that the person above you has posted. For example, I would post the word Spring, and the next person would have to describe Spring as if it was a person. That same member would follow his/her paragraph with another non-physical-esque thing. So, our first personification is:
FIRE
Let's see what you got.

The fire danced in the darkness.

Wait, Faith. When I said personification, I meant like, decribing fire as if it was a person. What that person would look like and how that person acts.

? As a person? What it would look like and such if it was an actual person? That's not quite personification...

It isn't? Isn't a personification when something that isn't alive is 'turned' into a person? I know that's a bad explanation, but that's the basics, right?

When something not human is given human traits: i.e. "dancing flames" (Flames don't dance. They don't have the legs to.) "Kiss of wind" (Wind has no lips to kiss with) "Breath of Ice" (Ice doesn't really breathe) "The face of the clock glared at him" (clocks can't glare - they have no eyes.)
From WIKI:
Perhaps you thought Anthropomorphism, where some object is given actual characteristics (i.e. fire would have orange skin, red eyes, speak quickly and loudly, maybe would walk/move in quick bursts)?
(also from WIKI)
